Maryon Gargiulo (born 1987 in La Seyne-Sur-Mer, France) is a singer, better known as Maryon, who represented Monaco in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "Notre Planète" (Our Planet). In 2004 the 16-year-old was chosen from over 500 competitors to represent Monaco in that year's Eurovision. Maryon was to be Monaco's first entry since 1979. Her song was "Notre Planete", a disco-themed song about the Mediterranean Sea and its need for protection. Monaco's Prince Albert congratulated Maryon publicly when she was selected to compete in the semi-final.
