Glass Museum was a short lived new wave band that formed in the early 80's. The band originally formed in 1980 in Düsseldorf as a duo consisting of Andy Gold (Germany) and Walter Mets (Belgium). The two, who were playing as session musicians with other acts, were later joined by James Clyde (Scotland), and Tony Red (UK). Their big break came when they toured with Simple Minds on the Belgium leg of their tour to promote the Simple Minds single "Promise of a miracle." The band only released one full length, self-titled album.
