Five lads from Melbourne write a bunch of songs and record them in their kitchen. They mail their six-song demo to Triple J in early 2005 and within no time Robbie Buck and Richard Kingsmill are singing their praises and flogging their signature tune 'One in 10,000' on the J’s. Without a record label or the accompanying marketing and promo push, the song slams into the Net 50, and remains there for three months, peaking in the Top 5.
